BABY JANE DEXTER BRINGS "YOU'RE FOLLOWING ME" TO CHICAGO
Baby Jane Dexter returns to Chicago's DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee

) with her eagerly awaited new show, ÀYou¡re Following Me!” Shows
are scheduled for Wednesday through Saturday, October 3rd through
6th at 8:00 pm. There will be a special "Press Preview" show on Tuesday,
October 2nd at 7:00 pm. Baby Jane Dexter will be accompanied by Chicago's
own, After Dark and Jeff Award winning composer, George Howe.
With songs by greats including Rogers and Hart, Jerome
Kern, Rogers and Hammerstein, Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley,
Leon Russell, Bob Hilliard, Chip Taylor, and Harold Arlen, she shares
intimate interpretations and personal visions of gems taken from
the worlds of pop, jazz, R & B and the great American songbook.
Since her return to performing in 1990, Ms. Dexter
has become one of today's most dynamic and beloved artists on the
club scene in New York City and elsewhere and amassed legions of
new fans that flock to see every show. She hopes to reconnect with
this show to the wonderful city of Chicago.
