VALERIE LEMON BRINGS FROMAN TRIBUTE SHOW TO CABARET AT SAVOR

) presents Valerie Lemon in a special one-night-only performance of
The Jane Froman Songbook, as a a kick-off celebration of Jane's 100th
birthday. In the show, Valerie pays tribute to one of Missouri's great
success stories exactly one day before the hundredth anniversary of
her birth in University City.
Jane Froman (November 10, 1907- April 22, 1980) triumphed
in a singing career which spanned three decades, and which included
radio and television, recordings, nightclub performances, Broadway
musicals and Hollywood movies. A centennial gala and celebration is
planned by the Jane Froman Fan Club and will take place in Columbia,
Missouri over the weekend of November 10th and 11th. For more information,

Valerie Lemon performed across the United States for
twelve years as concert soloist for Academy Award-winning composer
Marvin Hamlisch. A three-year veteran of the Mabel Mercer Cabaret
Convention (2003-2006), Valerie has also entertained audiences at
the Hamptons Cabaret Convention, the 92nd Street Y Lyrics & Lyricists
Series (Women of Rhyme and Song. She recently returned to the 92nd
Street Y in A Tribute to Mabel Mercer: The Words Came First with KT
Sullivan, Jeff Harner, Craig Rubano and Lumiri Tubo and narrated by
Donald Smith. She is hard at work with her collaborator, Eric Michael
Gillett, on a brand-new songbook project and on bringing her Jane
Froman show to symphony orchestras.
Tickets for Ms. Lemon's show are $30 with a $12 minimum.
