LIVE IN THE DELFONT ROOM ON MARCH 14TH
Following the huge sell out success of the Valentine's Night Luurvefest,
hosted and performed by the cast of the hit musical Avenue Q, THE DELFONT
ROOM OF THE PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE (Coventry Street, London UK - 0870
850 9189 - http://www.delfontmackintosh.co.uk/
) will host a showcase of the very best in new British Musical Theatre
on Wednesday March 14th at 11:00 pm. All Box Office profits will be
donated to TheatreCares (http://www.theatrecares.org.uk/
).
Performers scheduled to appear include Kelly Price (Formally
Guys and Dolls), Gina Beck (Les Mis), Alice Fern (Les Mis), Rebecca
Trehearn (We Will Rock You), Paul Ayres (Wicked), Edward Brewer (Porgy
and Bess), Jon Robyns and Giles Terera (Avenue Q). They will showcase
the brilliant work of UK composers including Craig Adams, Susannah
Pearse, Laurence Wythe, Matt Brind, Ian Sapiro and Charles Miller
(who is represented by Julie Atherton on her recent debut album).
Previous cabaret nights in the Delfont Room have featured
Joanna Riding with Martin Crewes, Adam Garcia, Tim Howar, Aaron Lazar,
Rosie Ashe and Simply Barbra.
Patrons are urged to arrive early from 10:30 pm to meet
their friends and enjoy a drink before the show begins. The successful
format remains the same, seating is at candlelit tables on a first
come first served basis and there is regular seating or standing (nightclub
style). Tickets are on sale now - call for prices.
