LOST SOCIETY TO FEATURE CHELSEA PLUMLEY ON AUGUST 29th
THE LOST SUPPER, a monthly soiree at LOST SOCIETY (697 Wandsworth Rd, Clapham, London, UK - 020 7652 6526 - http://www.lostsociety.co.uk/ ) will feature Chelsea Plumley on Wednesday August 29th at 8:30 pm. You are invited to dine in the sumptuous surroundings of the Crystal ballroom whilst accompanied by live jazz with Regina Kelly & Tom Donald, then sit back as the headlining cabaret act takes to the stage to top off a classy, unique dining experience.

Chelsea Plumley is the Australian singer who made a splash on the New York cabaret scene in 2001. Since graduating from WAAPA (West Australian Academy of Performing Arts) in 1994 with a degree in Musical Theatre, Chelsea has been steadily working in theatre throughout Australia and abroad.

Credits include: her New York cabaret debut, Chelsea Plumley - Angel in Training at Don't Tell Mama's; a second trip to New York as an invited guest of the Australian Consulate and Lexington Partners and a national tour of her one-woman show Chelsea Plumley in Concert, with performances at The Playhouse Theatre in Perth, The Studio Theatre, Sydney Opera House, The Ensemble Theatre in Sydney, two seasons at Chapel Off Chapel in Melbourne and the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, 2002. Most recently Chelsea has toured India with concert performances in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi and Sikkim.

She played the role of Rizzo in the Australian Tour of GREASE The Mega Musical; Tim Rice's Concert Spectacular; Terrence McNally's play Master Class and Kander and Ebb's And The World Goes Round.

Chelsea is an experienced accompanist having worked with the West Australian Conservatorium, WAAPA and the corporate group, The Three Waiters. Chelsea also booked, produced, hosted, accompanied and performed at a cabaret/jazz venue in Sydney, Side On Cafe 1999-2001. During 1996-1997, Chelsea performed with the cabaret group Combo Fiasco on occasion. She has appeared at The Stars Come Out, Oz Showbiz Cares and Sydney Theatre Company cabaret evenings.

Chelsea has sung for numerous radio jingles in Sydney and is also featured on the CD of the Australian Musical, Chair in the Landscape. Her corporate clients are extensive and include intimate functions for Richard and Jean Pratt, Prime Minister John Howard and Sydney Lord Mayor, Frank Sartor. In October 2002, Chelsea was a semi-finalist in the BBC Radio 2 Voice of Musical Theatre Competition in Cardiff, Wales. Chelsea will shortly host the 2003 Sydney Cabaret Convention.
