DANNA DAVIS AND KENNETH GARTMAN MAKE OWN PARTY
Danna Davis and Kenneth Gartman appear in their first show together

) for one night only on Monday, January 22nd at 6:30 pm. Last year
Ken was a guest on Danna's cabaret show at Don't Tell Mama entitled
"From New York". This year the two are sharing the stage in an inspiring
and fun evening about overcoming adversity with their show "Make
Your Own Party." Gartman and Davis have performed together throughout
Ireland along with Ellen McElroy and music director David Wray spreading
cabaret throughout the Emerald Isle in "A New York Songbook: Way Off
Broadway". Davis, originally from New York, and Gartman became instant
friends and that friendship has been the sunshine on many a rainy
day!
Danna
made her London Debut in 'I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change'.
In NYC, she has performed at both DON'T TELL MAMA and HELEN'S RESTAURANT,
CABARET & PIANO LOUNGE to critical acclaim! Danna trained at the
American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and has also studied
acting at HB Studios and Michael Howard Studio in NYC. Danna has
performed in many musicals in the USA and has appeared in the prestigious
Lincoln Center and Brooklyn Academy of Music. Most recently, Danna
completed a sold out US tour with the Three Irish Tenors as a member
of The Irish Divas. In Ireland, her credits include Aspects of Love
and JFK: A Musical Drama (Olympia Theatre), The Taffeta's (Gaiety
Theatre), Beyond Therapy and Creatures (Andrew's Lane Theatre).
Danna has appeared many times at the National Concert Hall in Dublin
and has been a featured soloist in Noel Coward Centenary Concert,
Kander and Ebb's And The World Goes Round, The Great American Songwriters
Series, and The Glorious MGM Musicals Concerts produced by Music
Theatre Ireland.
Kenneth
holds his BachelorĪs Degree in Music Education from Angelo State
University in San Angelo, TX. He started his professional performing
career in opera performing with the Ft. Worth Opera in Texas. He
later moved to New York City to pursue a career in musical theatre.
Kenneth is an international performer. He sang on a live broadcast
of Simply Sondheim by the BBC for the Opera Ireland Fringe Festival
in Northern Ireland. He also performed throughout Ireland in A New
York Songbook: Way Off Broadway with Music Theatre Ireland. He toured
the U.S.A. in the National Tour of The Music Man. Some of KennethĪs
favorite roles include: Jinx (Forever Plaid), Bishop of Basingstoke
(Jekyll & Hyde), Luther Billis (South Pacific), Noah Curry (110
In The Shade), Paul (Company), Ralph Rackstraw (HMS Pinafore), Frederic
(Pirates Of Penzance), Mr. Owen (Postcard from Morocco), Max (Lend
Me A Tenor), and himself in the reviews Tom Foolery and Side By
Side By Sondheim.
