Featuring some of the greatest hits of the 1980s the
show recalls the days of banana clips, acid wash and parachute pants
to relate the most radical 80s story ever told as the Syncopated
Sensations (Jessie Newton John, Lum Ding, Jimmy Phil Tony Bob Lee,
Tiara, Kippy, and Grapenut) celebrate their last days at West Lake
High. Its a campy look at a high school show choir that will have
you cheering as they jazz square into your heart.
Totally Electric is the 80s High School Show Choir
Musical! Flashback, circa 1989. The story delves into the dramatic
lives of West Lake's show choir The Syncopated Sensations. Each
loveable character going through their individual personal struggles
as the end of the year approaches. The songs used are hit pop/rock
songs from the 80s, some are actual show choir "numbers" while most
are cleverly used to tell the story. Totally Electric is foremost
a musical comedy but you will find many touching moments in it as
well.
Tickets are $15 plus a 2 drink minimum.
