DIMITRI RETURNS TO THE DUPLEX FOR ONE PERFORMANCE IN APRIL

2006 Bistro Award Winner (Outstanding Pop Vocalist) DIMITRI returns to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/ ) on Wednesday April 18th at 7:00 pm. Dimitri and his band will present a special evening of original songs and some "uncovered" pop classics.

Dimitri entered the music scene as a top-notch, seasoned performer with mass commercial appeal. His following is loyal and rabid as evidenced by sold out shows with standing room only crowds. Aside from the razzmatazz pop numbers, he is also able to create sweet intensity as he dedicates a tender Madonna ballad to his late mother. That he also chooses to sing the songs that are part of his heritage and personal history only adds to his mystique. Yet, there's the dichotomy of the mysterious versus the obvious as his choice of songs reveal much about who he really is.

There is a $15 cover and a 2-drink minimum.
