CABARET NEWS - NEW YORK CITY




AN EVENING OF SHORT MUSICALS BY NYC STUDENTS
THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - http://www.westbankcafe.com/theater/schedule ) is very pleased to announce three special performances in April, featuring premiere performances of three brand new short musicals. On Fridays, April 6th, 13th & 20th at 7:00 pm, three new pieces by students of NYUÆs Graduate Musical Theatre Writing program will debut. All three brief musicals will be presented at each performance.

PLAYTIME by Erato Kremmyda & Sean Keogh featuring Randy Blair, Ben Kaplan and Kelly Felthous

MRS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON by Karlan Judd & Robin Share featuring Brittany Cornelius, Randy Blair, Sam Pinkleton, Michelle Hernandez and Sonya Cooke

MOMENTO MORI by Rob Broadhurst & Maggie Coleman featuring Lisa Asher, Miles Phillips, Courter Simmons & Eddie Varley

Directed by Phil Geoffrey Bond and Ryan Mekenian Musical Direction by Ray Fellman & Sam Willmott

An Evening of Short Musicals is an opportunity for the public to see exciting work from talented new composers, soon to make their professional marks on the New York theatre community.

There is a $12 cover charge, as well as a $15 food/beverage minimum.
