Award-winning performer Jeanne MacDonald brings her most recent show
"Time Between Trains" back to HELEN'S RESTAURANT, CABARET & PIANO
LOUNGE (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-206-0609 -

) for five Saturday performances in March and April. MacDonald is
scheduled to appear on Saturdays, March 24th & 31st and April 14th,
21st & 28th, all shows at 9:30 pm. (No show on April 7th.) Working
with talented musical director/arranger Rick Jensen, MacDonald brings
a show that creates a seamless blend between traditional standards
from songwriters like Johnny Mercer, Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne, and
the music of contemporary songwriters, such as Jimmy Webb, Randy Newman,
Dar Williams and Susan Werner.
Jeanne MacDonald has earned a reputation as one of
NY's finest cabaret singers and an honest interpreter of the lyric.
She has received a variety awards for her work, including the New
York Nightlife Award, the Julie Wilson Award and the MAC Award for
Outstanding Female Vocalist. A BACK STAGE Bistro and a MAC Hanson
Award recipient, MacDonald was also nominated for the MAC Recording
of the Year for her debut CD "Company."
Jeanne first developed her artistry at The Bradstan
Country Hotel in White Lake, where she recorded her latest CD, "Live
at the Bradstan" in 2004. A graduate of the Crane School of Music
in Potsdam, Jeanne is originally from Freeport, NY. In addition
to her regular performances in and out of NYC, MacDonald also teaches
music northwest of Manhattan, in Orange County, NY.
There will be a $20 music charge and a $15 food or
beverage minimum.
