CAROL SHERLIN MAKES ENCORE APPEARANCE WITH NEW SHOW
Internationally acclaimed singer Carol Sherlin, who wowed sell-out
audiences and critics with her NYC cabaret debut at DON'T TELL MAMA
(343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 -

) in March returns to the venerable venue for one night only with
a new show on Monday, April 30th at 7:00 pm. Titled "Shades of Attachment,"
this new program will have musical direction by David Wolfson. The
show will feature songs from her debut CD "That Old Feeling" plus
additional songs that express the various attachments that this former
"Miss Florida" feels deeply about.
Carol Sherlin stepped onto the stage in Florida as
a young classical singer and captured the Miss Florida title. She
continued to wow audiences with her beautiful voice and went on
to win the Miss America runner-up title. Concerts with orchestras
including the Miami Philharmonic followed, as did leading roles
in musical theater in the United States.
Her musical journey then led her to Buenos Aires,
Argentina, where she became established for over a decade as an
undisputed Concert and Cabaret star. When she arrived home to the
States, she took a turn from performing and studying music therapy
to completing a doctoral program in clinical psychology and becoming
a certified psychoanalyst.
Carol never stopped singing and studying both musical
comedy and her classical repertoire. Now, with deeper understanding
and insight into the dynamics and feelings of interpersonal relationships,
continues to bring her talents to cabaret and concert audiences.
There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
