CABARET NEWS - NEW YORK CITY




"WHEN THE LIGHTS GO ON AGAIN" ANNOUNCES 2ND EXTENSION
The critically acclaimed "When The Lights Go On Again," the new musical celebrating the music of the 1940s and World War II, announces its 2nd extension at THE TRIAD (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2511 - http://www.Triadnyc.com/ ). Written and staged by Bill Daugherty, the musical is produced by Thoroughbred Records and Max Weintraub. Performances will run through May 27th. When The Lights Go On Again features Bill Daugherty, Paul Kropfl, Christina Morrell and Connie Pachl. Doyle Newmyer serves as musical director with Jim Conant on guitar and John Loehrke on bass.

Show schedule is Saturdays at 2:00 pm with additional evening performances on March 3rd, March 17th & March 31st at 7:00 pm. Starting April 4th, performances will be Wednesdays at 7:00 p and Saturdays & Sundays at 3:00 pm. Starting May 4th, performances will be Fridays at 7:00 pm and Saturdays & Sundays at 3:00 pm.

Set during a live WNEW radio broadcast from the ballroom of the Roosevelt Hotel, When The Lights Go On Again follows The Moonlighters, an up and coming singing group trying to land a job with the legendary Glenn Miller band. Told through 28 hit songs from the 1940s, the musical paints the emotions of a country supporting its combat efforts and the sacrifices that war can bring.

Tickets are $30.
