STEVIE HOLLAND IN ENCORE PERFORMANCES IN MAY

Award-winning vocalist Stevie Holland will be returning to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - http://www.metropolitanroom.com/ ) on Tuesdays, May 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th. She will be accompanied by Kris Davis on piano, Chris Van Voorst Van Beest on bass and Jeff Davis on drums. With arrangements by award winning composer Gary William Friedman, the program will consist of classics, standards and original songs, many from her recent CD release More Than Words Can Say.

A solid head for swing, an intelligent and honest approach to lyrics, a beautiful voice and the gift of being a first-rate, tour-de-force performer has earned Stevie Holland steady praise from critics and fans in the cabaret and jazz worlds.

Previous CDs include Almost Like being In Love, which earned her the 2003 BACK STAGE Bistro Award for Outstanding Vocalist of the Year and Restless Willow, which was voted a Top 10 CD of 2004 by listeners of KSDS FM in San Diego, CA and voted a Top 10 CD of the year by The Cape Fear Jazz Appreciation Society in North Carolina.

There is a $25 Cover Charge plus a 2 Drink Minimum.
