CABARET NEWS - NEW YORK CITY

RENDEZVOUS AT FEINSTEIN'S TWO MONDAYS IN JUNE
Having entertained highly enthusiastic audiences in and around New York City, the dazzling musical revue "RENDEZVOUS" will be presented at FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095 - http://www.feinsteinsattheregency.com/ ) on Mondays June 11th & 18th, both performances at 8:30 pm. "RENDEZVOUS" features the best from French pop icons Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, and Charles Aznavour, together with Parisian-themed selections from musical "friends" such as Cole Porter, Steven Sondheim, and Michel Legrand.

The sparkling cast includes vocalists Philip Anderson, who debuted at Carnegie Hall singing Handel's Messiah and is currently performing on Broadway in "Coram Boy"; Brenda Bush, recently seen as Marilyn Monroe in "The Marilyn Project" at the DUO Theater; Adam Cooley, just returned from a nationwide tour with "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"; Katie Geissinger, who has performed on Broadway in "La Boheme" and is also currently appearing in "Coram Boy"; Carmen Lamar Daehler, whose performances in many NYC venues have earned rave reviews; and Greg Purnhagen, who performs an eclectic musical array in New York and internationally and who, like Katie, has worked with such avant-garde luminaries as Philip Glass, Bjork and Meredith Monk. Musical Director Tedd Firth accompanies on piano; - Sean Conly on bass completes the ensemble.

Music and lyrics are selected, arranged and performed to stir the emotions and fill the room with passion, charm, laughter and poignancy, before ending on a moving note of optimism and cheer.

There is a $25 cover charge and a 2-beverage minimum.
