JAZZ-POP SINGER ROSE ANDREZ TO PERFORM AT THE TRIAD
Jazz-pop singer Rose Andrez will perform her latest show at THE TRIAD (158 West 72nd Street, NYC - 212-362-2511 - http://www.Triadnyc.com/ ) on Tuesday, June 19th at 7:00 pm. Rose Andrez has a stylish jazz-pop sound reminiscent of Rosemary Clooney and Bette Midler. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, her mother and aunt were professional singers known as the Antonelli Twins. They performed with Carol Burnett, Frankie Avalon and Michael Bennett.

Rose began performing in musicals at the Seaside Music Theatre, Candlewood Playhouse and Downtown Cabaret Theatre. She performed in numerous productions, from "Little Mary Sunshine" to "Mame" and "Evita" to "My Fair Lady." She was also the host of the television programs "Soundstage" and "Panorama" in Ithaca, NY. She made her New York City stage debut in her own show, "Rose's Show" at DON'T TELL MAMA to sold out audiences. The show was a fabulous evening about the challenges she faced in discovering her own true voice through the songs of Amanda McBroom, Mary-Chapin Carpenter, Phil Everly, Quincy Jones and Rod Temperton.

Rose released her first CD "Lucky Woman" to a sold-out audience at Mama Rose's in New York City and performed regularly at DANNYıS SKYLIGHT ROOM and THE TRIAD. Rose sold out the Cabaret-in-the Square Theater and The Tralf in Buffalo, NY. Rose was a featured vocalist at Tavern on the Green for the National Association of Women Business Owners gala dinner.

Rose recently released her second EP "I Got A Man" at DONıT TELL MAMA in New York City. She had the privilege of working with Grammy winning engineer Dae Bennett who recorded and mixed the single "Wonderful."

In addition to her performing background, Rose worked for Robert Cole Productions on the Broadway hit, "Having Our Say" produced by Camille O. Cosby and Judith Rutherford James; and the Off- Broadway play, "Cryptogram" written by David Mamet. She also produced and promoted concerts for The New York Chamber Ensemble at Lincoln Center. Rose is classically trained by renowned concert pianist and artist developer Vera Tisheff; (multi-platinum recording artist Vanessa Carlton, Grammy Award winning musical director Paul Bogaev).

Tickets are $20 plus a 2-drink minimum.
