THURSDAY NIGHT JAZZ SERIES AT BARGEMUSIC STARTS IN JUNE

Located at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, BARGEMUSIC (Fulton Ferry Landing, Brooklyn, NY - 718-624-4061 - http://www.bargemusic.org/ ) begins its Thursday night JAZZ Series starting in June 2007. Imagine a truly unique New York City location with charm, history and spectacular water views. You can enjoy top jazz artists performing in a location that will delight even the most sophisticated socialite or businessperson against the magnificent backdrop of the New York City skyline.

The venue is Bargemusic, a floating concert hall that was once used to transport coffee and now is beloved by discriminating concertgoers around the world and is now one of New York City's most unusual and enchanting event venues. Scheduled to perform: June 7th, legendary Jazz Pianist and Composer Dick Hyman; June 14th, Jeff Newell's New-Trad Octet (Jeff Newell, Saxophone; David Smith, Trumpet; Alan Ferber, Trombone; Marcus Rojas, Tuba; Dave Phelps, Guitar; Tricia Woods, Piano; Tom Hubbard, Bass; Brian Woodruff, Drums); June 21st, Jesse Elder's Jazz Quintet (Tatum Greenblatt, Trumpet; Jeremy Viner, Tenor saxophone; Jesse Elder, Piano/composition; Matt Brewer, Bass; Tommy Crane, Drums); June 28th, The Randy Sandke Jazz Trio (Randy Sandke, Trumpet; Howard Alden, Guitar; Nicki Parrot, Bass). All perfromances at 8:00 pm.
