Singer/pianist Chris Barrett
brings his new show "CHRIS BARRETT....by request" to THE METROPOLITAN
ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - http://www.metropolitanroom.com/
) for one night only on Monday, August 13th at 7:00 pm. Using his
resources from over 30 years performing as a saloon singer and pianist,
Chris Barrett, via e-mail, has solicitated and recieved requests of
favorite songs from his fans from which he has constucted his newest
show. The requested songs performed in the show range from Broadway,
cabaret classics to standards from the great American songbook.
Bistro Award
winner and Nightlife Award finalist Chris Barrett has appeared in
New York, across the USA and throughout Europe. He has performed
in concert and cabaret, in piano bars and saloons and for a lifetime
of private parties. He has enjoyed invitational performaces at The
Smithsonian Institution, Stienway Hall and at Lincoln Center's Bruno
Walter Auditorium. Chris has performed for Presidents Richard Nixon
and Ronald Reagan and has appeared as a guest artist with The Milwaukee
Symphony Orchestra.
Chris has
recorded five CDs, including his recently released "Champagne Sometimes."
There os
a $15 cover plus a 2 beverage minimum.
