LESLIE OROFINO BRINGS MANHATTAN MADNESS TO MANHATTAN
2007 Hanson Award Winner, Leslie Orofino and her trio will be weaving their magic again with a brand new show, MANHATTAN MADNESS on Sundays, September 23rd, 30th and October 7th at 4:00 at the THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - http://www.metropolitanroom.com/ ). The show features Keith Ingham on piano, Boots Maleson on bass and Rex Benincasa on drums. Louis D. Pietig directs.

Through her personal observations of the many characters in the biggest city in the world Leslie takes you on a musical trip to famous nightclubs, Central Park, Tiffany's, penthouses, and many key spots in New York City. She will be performing the music of Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Tony DeSare and many others with blues, swing, comedy and tender ballads. Some of the songs are Manhattan Madness, Down In The Depths of the 90th Floor, Let's Just Stay In, Sunday In New York, Guys And Dolls.

Ms. Orofino's recently performed this show to great acclaim at BOB EGAN'S COSMOPOLITAN CLUB AT THE NEW HOPE INN in Pennsylvania. A few of Leslie Orofino's New York City nightclub appearances include The Waldorf Astoria, The Plaza Hotel, The Algonquin's Oak Room, Opia, Danny's Skylight Room and The Hideaway Room at Helen's.

There is a $20 cover plus a 2-beverage minimum.
