CABARET NEWS - NEW YORK CITY

ALDERVAN DALY SINGS "HERE I GO AGAIN" AT THE BEECHMAN
Aldervan Daly returns with his show "Here I Go Again" to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - http://www.westbankcafe.com/theater/schedule ) on Monday October 29th at 7:00 pm. The show is a look at love, romance and the results, using great songs from the American Song Book and some choice modern pieces. Musical director is Paul Greenwood, and Joseph Hardy directs.

Aldervan Daly started performing at the ripe old age of 10 in his hometown of Mobile, Al in a house filled with music form the 1930 and 1940s. His parents were older so even though it might have been the 1960s on the radio it was always somewhere between 1945 and 1959 on the turntable. There was no British invasion and no rock and roll just jazz and blues versions of composers like Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Rodger and Hart.

Though he has performed regionally in shows ranging from Little Shop of Horror (Seymour) to Hamlet (Guildenstern) his first foray into the world of cabaret was in 2005 with a show entitled "Songs My Therapist Says I Should Not Sing." The next summer he was honored with a scholarship to attend the Eugene OØNeill Theater Conference's Cabaret Convention. Out of that experience grew his new Show " Here I Go, Again." which was first performed in the spring of 2007.

There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
