JUDY BUTTERFIELD RETURNS TO THE ALGONQUIN WITH NEW SHOW
Judy Butterfield, a seventeen year old San Francisco native, has just
premiered her brand new show, HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON? to
capacity crowds and standing ovations in a week long engagement at
the EMPIRE PLUSH ROOM in San Francisco. Now she brings her new show,
for one night only, to THE ALGONQUIN OAK ROOM (59 West 44th Street,

) on Sunday November 4th at 8:00 pm. Directed by Clifford Bell, with
musical direction by Ken Muir, this new offering looks at songs of
discovering love throughout the Great American Songbook from composers
like George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Jerome Kern through Bob Dylan
and Joni Mitchell.
Judy made her New York debut at the age of fourteen
at the Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention, where she will return Monday,
November 5,ò the night following her Algonquin appearance, to participate
in the Gala Opening of the 18th Annual Cabaret Convention where
Ms. Marcovicci will be receiving the Mabel Award.
