Broadway leading lady Liz Callaway jets into town on November 20th
for an exclusive two-week run of a brand new act "Between Flights,"
at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440

). Ms. Callaway will be making her official debut as a solo headliner
in a major New York engagement. "Between Flights" will mark a departure
from her normal concert fare. Her nine performance are scheduled for
Tuesday November 20th at 9:30 pm, Friday & Saturday, November 23rd
& 24th at 7:30 pm, Sunday & Monday, November 25th & 26th at 7:00 pm
and Thursday through Saturday, November 29th through December 1st
at 7:30 p,, and Sunday December 2nd at 7:00 pm.
Mixing songs she has recorded, and sung on stage and
in films ("Anastasia" - Academy Award nominated song) with material
that she has yet to perform, Callaway launches into compositions
by Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz, Maltby and Shire, and Jimmy
Webb among others. The show will detour into the 60s, making other
unscheduled stops in surprising, exotic locales.
The Tony nominated, Emmy-winning actress' demanding
solo concert career in recent years has taken her from China to
London and all across the USA. Besides "Baby" (for which she was
nominated for a Tony) and "Cats," Callaway debuted in "Merrily We
Roll Along" and starred in the original casts of "Miss Saigon,"
"The Three Musketeers," and "The Look of Love."
There is a $30 cover plus a 2-beverage minimum.
