59E59 THEATERS (59 East 59th Street, NYC - 212-279-4200 - http://www.59e59.org/) glitters during the final weeks of December with the return of the festive Holiday favorite The Park Avenue Whirl featuring acclaimed Broadway star Penny Fuller, New York cabaret favorite Steve Ross and Off-Broadway darling Rita Gardner. The Park Avenue Whirl mixes Broadway and Off-Broadway musical favorites with enchanting Holiday songs. The series begins on Wednesday, December 19th for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 30th. Please note, there is no performance on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25th. The performance schedule is Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 3:00 pm.

Steve Ross plays the opening act of The Park Avenue Whirl with his acclaimed tribute to Steven Sondheim for four performances only on Friday & Saturday, December 21st & 22nd at 8:00 pm; Sunday, December 23rd at 3:00 pm; and Wednesday, December 26th at 8:00 pm.

Rita Gardner, who famously played "The Girl" in the original production of The Fantasticks and most recently starred on Broadway in The Wedding Singer, caps off this year's Whirl for six sparkling first acts, on Wednesday & Thursday, December 19 & 20th at 8:00 pm; Thursday, Friday & Saturday, December 27th & 29th at 8:00 pm and Sunday, December 30th at 3:00 pm.

The incandescent Penny Fuller, who charms audiences with stories about her experiences with some of the greatest American composers, headlines the second act at all performances.
