BARBARA ROSENE AT THE MANOR IN JUNE

) proudly presents Barbara Rosene with her show "Dreaming" on Thursday,
June 21st at 9:00 pm as part of the Manor's Cabaret Soiree Series. Barbara
Rosene is a passionate interpreter of American popular music of past
decades. For several years Barbara was the featured vocalist with Vince
Giordano's Nighthawks at traditional music spots such as The Red Blazer
Too.
Barbara's first CD, Deep Night, is a tribute to the
female vocalists of the Jazz Age. Her second solo CD, Ev'rything's
Made for Love, includes tunes from the 20s and 30s and in October
2005, she released Moon Song, her third CD.
In February of 2006, Barbara was pianist Judy Carmichael's
featured guest on her NPR Radio Show Jazz Inspired. She has appeared
at the prestigious Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret Convention in
New York and has had regular engagements at New York's Essex House
and Tavern on the Green. She performed her Moon Song show to rave
reviews at Danny's Skylight Room, also in Manhattan, and has won the
Back Stage Bistro Award for that show.
The Cabaret Soiree consists of a 4-course, 4-star dinner-and-show
package, with dinner seatings at 6:00, 6:15, and 6:30 pm. Cost for
dinner and show is $74 plus tax and gratuity. Wait-list "show only"
seats may be available at $35 per person.
