JOE PECK SINGS TORCHERED MELODIES AT TWO DC VENUES
Singer/actor Joe Peck is joined by Helen Hayes Award-winning music director George Fulginiti-Shakar in "Torchered Melodies" for a cabaret-style performance celebrating the art of losing in love. On Thursday, October 11th, Joe is appearing at THE ARTS CLUB OF WASHINGTON (2017 I Street NW, Washington, DC - 202-331-7282) in a "Members Only" performance at 6:30 pm. Then, on Tuesday October 23rd at 8:00 pm he will perform at THE CAPITOL HILL ARTS WORKSHOP (545 7th Street SE, Washington, DC - TKTS: 571-268-2160).

Joe is a baritone/tenor vocalist and has appeared on DC-area stages including Ford's Theatre, The Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, and Olney Theatre Center. This is not a "slit-your-wrist" song list. In fact, the roughly hour-long musical performance boasts plenty of fun (along with introspective moments) as Joe, George and bassist Matt Murray explore this very rich topic that has inspired songwriters through the ages. Given the breadth of songs about love gone wrong, the show appropriately brings together music from many genres - jazz, pop, standards, musical theatre, R&B, Latin, and blues.

Admission for the show on the 23rd are $10.
