BARRY LLOYD "NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON!"
Barry Lloyd returns with his critically acclaimed one-man show, "Not
A Moment Too Soon! The Songs Of Murray Grand." for one night only in
San Francisco on Friday, April 15th at 7:00 pm at MICHAEL'S OCTAVIA
LOUNGE (1772 Market Street, SF - 415-863-3516 - http://www.octavialounge.com/
). The songs of Murray Grand run the gamut from the hilarious and irreverent
to solemn and sublime, and are perfectly tailored to both the comic
timing and the heartfelt sincerity audiences have grown to love in the
performances of Barry Lloyd.
Murray Grand, who passed away last month, was very pleased
to know that a full evening was being devoted to his songs. It is
a first, and certainly Not A Moment Too Soon! In addition to contributing
material to such landmark reviews as New Faces Of '52, '56, and '68,
and Julius Monk's Four Below, Mr. Grand also composed special nightclub
act material for such artists as Alice Ghostly, Phyllis Diller, Dody
Goodman, Joanne Worley, Bea Lillie, Hermione Gingold, and Paul Lynde.
There is a $15 cover charge. Call for minimum information.
