BARRY LLOYD IN TRIBUTE SHOW TO BOBBY SHORT
Barry Lloyd, San Francisco's Crown Prince of Cabaret, pays homage to
the undisputed King of Cabaret, Bobby Short, in his new show for one
night only at JAZZ AT PEARLS (256 Columbus Avenue, North Beach, San

) on Thursday, June 28th at 8:00 & 10:00 pm.
Barry returns to San Francisco with this all new show
after a triumphant evening at Manhattan's METROPOLITAN ROOM singing
the songs of Murray Grand. Now, in tribute to his idol since childhood,
Mr. Lloyd sings a dazzling collection of classics made popular by
Bobby Short from the Great American Songbook.
Singer-pianist Bobby Short, who was named a "Living
Landmark" by New York's Landmark Conservancy, passed away in March
of 2005. He left behind over forty albums, three Grammy nominations,
numerous film and television cameos, and an audience bejeweled with
royalty, four U.S. presidents, and the cream of New York society who
clamored for his eloquent, articulate and always sophisticated brand
of singing.
There is a $15 music charge and a 2-drink minimum.
