LOVE IS A FOUR LETTER WORD IN SAN FRANCISCO
Christopher Copeland has again put together a great talented line-up
for this up-coming cabaret show "Love is a Four Letter Word" to be presented
on Saturday October 20th at the OCTAVIA LOUNGE (1772 Market Street,
SF - 415-863-3516 - http://www.octavialounge.com/
) at 8:00 pm. This show will feature Tory Agardi, John Mccullough, Patty
Penrod with Barry Lloyd at the piano.
Tory Agardi is a veteran in the Bay Area music scene.
She has appeared in such shows as My Fair Lady, Into the Woods, Mame,
Nunsense, Company and many others. She studied acting and improvisational
theather at ACT, vocal technique at the Judy Davis Studio, and voice
over training with Taylor Korobow.
John McCullough has been a regular performer in the
cabaret community since 2001. After placing as a finalist in the Bay
Area Talent Search, John won the Dean Goodman Award for performance
in one of Christopher Copeland's shows. He has performed on the stages
of Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center and has performed and produced
two sold out shows at The Plush Room.
Patty Penrod is a Mezzo/Soprano Belter who has performed
in many productions in the Bay Area. Productions include Annie Get
Your Gun, Sweeney Todd, Disney's Beauty & The Beast, Sound of Music,
And The World Goes 'Round, Grease and Company just to name a few.
Her versatility as a performer is evident by the variety of her roles.
Barry Lloyd is a brilliant arranger, composer, accompanist
and performer. He is a major force in both East and West coast jazz
and cabaret performance. He is also an accomplished actor and an avid
aficionado of the American Songbook. He has appeared at the Plush
Room, Octavia Lounge, Purple Onion, Jazz At Pearls, and many New York
Clubs.
There is a $20 cover charge.
