TIMELESS DIVAS GOES HOLLYWOOD IN BOCA RATON
ShaRell Productions (Sandi Durell & Shari Upbin) present TIMELESS DIVAS GOES HOLLYWOOD! on Saturday October 27th at 2:00 & 7:30 pm and Sunday October 28th at 4:00 pm at LYNN UNIVERSITY (3601 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL - 561-237-9000 - http://www.timelessdivas.com/ ). The cast includes Christy Mauro-Cohen, Barry J. Tarallo and Eileen Faxas. Musical Direction is by Irwin Solomon.

The show is an entertaining recollection of the wealth of songs of the Silver Screen from the 40s throught 80s. A combination of swingin' on a star, make 'em laugh and being bewitched. There really is no business like show business and nothing like the romance of the Silver Screen. Professional performers provide the comic touches and soul-stirring emotions. Extraordinary musical styles -- brilliant harmonies.

Christy Mauro-Cohen was most recently seen as Doris Day in "Day After Day...A biography Of Doris Day", currently running throughout South Florida after a successful run at the Broward Stage Door Theatre and the Hollywood Playhouse. Regional credits include the Narrator in "Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", Roxie Hart in "Chicago", Victoria Grant in "Victor/Victoria", Woman 2 in the long running hit "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" and Lucy (Curtain Up Nomination for Best Actress) in "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" at Actor's Playhouse in Coral Gables. Christy has served as opening act on tour for David Brenner, Pat Cooper, Jackie Mason, Eddie Fischer, Jennifer Holiday, Rodney Dangerfield, Alan King, Alan Thicke Robert Klein and Buddy Hackett.

Barry J. Tarallo appeared on Broadway in Grease and Joseph... Dreamcoat at the Royal Theatre. He appeared in the National Tour of Cotton Patch Gospel. Off Broadway credits include the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park in Pirates of Penzance. Regional play credits include Glengarry Glen Ross, Enchanted April, Lend Me a Tenor, Benedict Arnold, Echoes, Wait and See. Regional Musicals include: A Funny Thing... Forum, The Spitfire Grill, Company, Brigadoon, Jesus Christ Superstar, She Loves Me, The Good War, Pumpboys and Dinettes, Elmer Gantry, and Wood Guthrie's American Song.

Eileen Faxas appeared in 'Around the World in 80 Minutes' in Miami Beach, Fl. a musical revue that showcased songs from Broadway paying tribute to different cultures where she played Mary Poppins, Sally Bowles and Bloody Mary. She has appeared in the 'Heavenly Hollywood Dinner Show', celebrating songs from Hollywood movies; presented her one-woman show throughout Texas and Florida of her own songs. She has sung everything from inspirational songs to jazz; appeared on television in English and Spanish, performed in concert and released a CD 'Dance Cry Swing' featuring songs she wrote. Eileen is the Entertainment Correspondent for Barrio305.com and former Anchor & Consumer Reporter on KHOU (CBS-TV in Houston Tx). Eileen has won 3 Emmys, AP Awards and 5 Houston Press Club awards.
