LML Music Release Maureen Christine CD "The Very Thought Of You"

LML Music has announced a new CD release, "The Very Thought Of You" featuring concert and cabaret vocalist Maureen Christine. This recording offers Gershwin standards such as "Embraceable You" and "S' Wonderful," Porter's "I Love You," Hammerstein's "Something Wonderful," a song by David Friedman and even a couple of originals by Maureen herself. Maureen Christine is a celebrated concert vocalist and songwriter, and has headlined at concert halls and presenting arts centers from Chicago to Germany winning critical acclaim.

"The Very Thought Of You," produced by Maureen Christine, features some of the finest musicians in Chicago. Among them, pianist and arranger Bobby Schiff who is considered one of Chicago's top jazz pianists, cabaret pianist and musical director Chuck Larkin, Charlie Braum who plays regularly with jazz legend Marion McPartland and touring bassist Larry Kohult.

Maureen is also an accomplished songwriter. She began her songwriting career at the age of 16 when she entered and performed an original song in a talent contest for which she was awarded 1st place by pop star Barry Manilow. Two of her original songs are included on this new album "The Very Thought Of You."

Maureen performs in a variety of settings, from cabaret style with just a pianist to performances with 18 piece "Big Band" to symphony orchestra. Maureen has also performed on national television several times including her most frequent appearances on WGN as the vocalist of The National Anthem for the Chicago Cubs.
