STAR OF BROADWAY'S MAMMA MIA! "WHEN THE SUN COMES OUT" CD AVAILABLE IN STORES NOVEMBER 27

JEROME RECORDS (http://www.jeromerecords.com/), in association with Zevely Records, will release "When the Sun Comes Out," the latest CD from Broadway star Karen Mason on November 27th. The CD is produced by Paul Rolnick. The executive producer is John Jerome.

"When the Sun Comes Out" is an exciting new collection of Broadway showstoppers, torch songs, American standards and pop classics. "I Have A Dream," the ABBA song from the musical Mamma Mia!, is included as a special bonus track. The CD also features songs by Kander & Ebb, Lennon &McCartney, George & Ira Gershwin and more.

Karen Mason, star of Broadway's smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, is a four-time MAC Award winner, including the 2001 MAC Award for Major Female Vocalist. She is best known to theatre audiences for playing "Norma Desmond" in SUNSET BLVD. Πwhich she performed on Broadway and in Los Angeles for three years. Other New York theatre credits include: JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY (playing "Mazeppa" and singing "Mr. Monotony"), PLAY ME A COUNTRY SONG and TORCH SONG TRILOGY on Broadway; and Off-Broadway in CARNIVAL (1993 Drama Desk Award nomination), AND THE WORLD GOES ROUND (Outer Critics Circle Award) and KAREN MASON SINGS BROADWAY, BEATLES AND BRIAN.

An acclaimed cabaret and concert artist, Karen has headlined Carnegie Hall, Arci's Place, The Russian Tea Room, Rainbow & Stars, The Algonquin and The Ballroom in New York, The Cinegrill and The Plush Room in San Francisco and Davenport's in Chicago. She has shared concert stages with Luciano Pavarotti, Rosemary Clooney, Liza Minnelli, Michael Feinstein, Jerry Herman and John Kander & Fred Ebb, among others. She has given concerts in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Brazil, Scotland and recently with John McDaniel conducting the St. Louis Symphony.
