Shaynee Rainbolt Celebrates the Release of Her Debut CD

"From This Moment On" Released at The Plush Room, Pizza on the Park and Danny's Skylight Room

"From This Moment On," the debut CD by emerging Bay Area jazz-cabaret vocalist Shaynee Rainbolt will be released at a concert at San Francisco's fabled THE PLUSH ROOM at the York Hotel (940 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-885-2800 - http://www.plushroom.com/) on Monday, December 9th at 8:00 pm. Accompanying Ms. Rainbolt is an enviable musical line-up including Mike Greensill on piano, Michael Zisman on bass, Dave Rokeach on drums and Noel Jewkes on saxophone, flute and clarinet. "From This Moment On" will be released on the prestigious British record label 33 JAZZ.

Recorded at San Francisco's legendary Hyde Street Studios, "From This Moment On" features Shaynee Rainbolt singing the music of jazz greats past and present such as Duke Ellington's "I Didn't Know About You," Fats Waller's "Keepin' Out Of Mischief Now," George and Ira Gershwin's "Someone To Watch Over Me," Dave Frishberg's "Let's Eat Home" and the CD's title track, "From This Moment On" by Cole Porter. Produced by Wanda Stafford and Paul Stubblebine, the CD also showcases the superb musicianship of Mike Greensill, Noel Jewkes, John Wiitala on bass and Colin Bailey on drums.

Shaynee Rainbolt makes her London debut on Monday, January 27th, 2003 at the PIZZA ON THE PARK (11 Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner, London - 020-7235-5273) backed by Britain's highly acclaimed Clark Tracey Quartet. Ms. Rainbolt then returns to New York City for two performances at popular Manhattan cabaret venue DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (346 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/) on Tuesday, February 4th and Thursday, February 6th, 2003.

Shaynee Rainbolt's many exciting off-stage projects include Rainbolt-Hampton Arts, a California nonprofit corporation that supports arts education causes and arts related community services and programs. She also runs eCabaret-SF.com, a free web/email based resource for performers and clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
