MARCH IS CABARET MONTH EVENT!
CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals - http://www.chicagocabaret.org/
) presents "Counting Down the Decades: 50 Years of Song", a 20th Century
Songwriter's Series 2008 event, to celebrate MARCH IS CABARET MONTH.
The shows are presented on the five Sundays in March at DAVENPORT'S
(1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - http://www.davenportspianobar.com/
). There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. The show schedule and
performers are as follows:
March 2nd - "The 80's" with George Howe, musical director
with Rob Dorn, Elizabeth Doyle, Laura Freeman, Tim Hairston, Gillian
Kelly and Melissa Young.
March 9th - "The 70's" with Beckie Menzie, musical director
with Amy Cole, Joan Curto, Alma Mendoza, Tom Michael, Marianne Murphy
Orland, Robert Whorton
March 16th - "The 60's" with Mark Burnell, musical director
and Anne Burnell, director; with Keely Nicole, Daryl Nitz, Suzy Petri,
Carolyn Wehner, 3 Girls 3: Gail Becker, Heather Moran and MaryMonica
Thomas.
March 23rd - "The 50's" with James Cebastien, musical
director and Carla Gordon, director; with John Eskola, Michelle Greenberg,
KT McCammond, Pam Peterson, Brad Thacker and Sami Scot.
March 30th - "The 40's" with Bob Moreen, musical director,
with Tracy Adams, David Edelfelt, Claudia Hommel, Audrey Morris, Cheryl
Szucsits and Kat Taylor.
