FINAL CABARET CARES GALA EVENT APRIL 7TH
The hit cabaret series Cabaret Cares concludes its run on April 7th
at 8:30 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West
42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 -

). The series produced and created by Joseph Macchia brings together
the best of the Broadway and Cabaret Community,to raise funds for
Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS and Help Is On The Way Today.
The series debuted in 2005 and raised over $9000.00
for Broadway Cares. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour
at 6:30 pm followed at 7:30 pm by an elegant buffet dinner. At 8:30
the show will begin. The evening will include a live auction hosted
by E Fashion Emergency's Leon Hall.
Performing that night will be cast members from the
Broadway shows The Color Purple (James Harkness, Bahiyah Gaines),
A Chorus Line (Heather Parcells, Lindy Patty, Jessica Franklin),
The Jersey Boys (Rebecca Kupka), The Broadway Boys, Spamalot (Hannah
Waddingham) In The Heights(Krysta Rodriguez), The Producers (Robert
Fowler). Representing The Cabaret Community will be Leslie Anderson,
Sue Matsuki, Aaron lee Battle, Leon Hall, Peter Mac, Kathy Kaefer
and Erin Shields.
The money raised will go directly to Broadway Cares
and Help Is On The Way Today. Broadway Cares is the nations leading
industry based AIDS grant making organization. Help Is On The Way
Today is a new non-for-profit organization founded by Joseph Macchia
that helps and assists children and youth living with HIV and AIDS.
The price for the evening is $100 per person, which
includes beer, wine and soda.
