Deanna Neil will be performing her show, "Enter Night - An exploration
of bedtime" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788

and Saturday, May 3rd at 8:00 pm. The songs in ENTER NIGHT span genres
from The White Stripes to Cole Porter and even an original number
by Ms. Neil. Musical Direction and Accompaniment by Brian Gelfand
with Dave Romano on bass and Dan Vonnegut on drums. Director is Jessica
Redish.
In "Enter Night," Ms. Neil explores how evening moods
change as we get older - from gentle lullabies to screaming nightmares,
to seductive selections for lovers and how some feelings of night
remain universal. Interspersed audio interviews with strangers highlight
this universal element, adding a fresh multicultural and multimedia
dimension to accompany Ms. Neil's personal stories and humorous
banter.
Ms. Neil is a singer, actress, writer and radio go-to
girl. With a four-octave range, full, rich high notes (to a high
F) and a powerful belt, Ms. Neil has been called one of the greatest
undiscovered sopranos.
There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
