NYC: JAZZ / CABARET PAYS TRIBUTE TO JAZZ LEGEND BARBARA LEA

A benefit by loving friends of jazz legend Barbara Lea to honor her as she faces a serious life challenge will be held on Friday, July 25th at 7:30 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - http://www.westbankcafe.com/ ). The show will feature performances by Bob Dorough, Steve Ross, Daryl Sherman, Ronny Whyte, The Loren Schoenberg Big Band, Keith Ingham, Melissa Hamilton, Karen Oberlin, Annie Dinerman, Sue Matsuki and others. Please join in celebrating "The High Priestess of Popular Song," one of the greatest gifts to jazz singing. Recommended Donation: $20 ($15 food/drink minimum applies).
