NEW CABARET IN NAPA IN SEPTEMBER - SNEAK PREVIEWS IN AUGUST

Napa Valley's new, premier live performance space, SILO'S (530 Main Street, Napa, CA - 707-251-5833 - http://www.weslawhitfield.com/silo's.html ), will officially open on Friday, September 5th at 7:00 pm presenting the magical song stylings of International Cabaret/Jazz star Wesla Whitfield. Wesla, with Mike Greensill at the piano, performs the best of The American Popular Songbook featuring the songs of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Frank Loesser, Rodgers & Hart, Harry Warren, Rodgers & Hammerstein and many, many more. Silo's wine bar, situated in the historic riverfront Napa Mill complex at the foot of main street, is a new venture between Wesla & Mike and the good folks at The Napa River Inn. Napa wines will be offered, all available by the glass, along with three micro-brews from Napa Smith Brewery and a selection of delicious appetizers and desserts.

Wesla will perform every Friday and Saturday in September, with three sets at 7:00, 8:15 and 9:30 pm. There will be a $15 cover charge. Mike will offer solo jazz cabaret on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. He will be joined on Thursday nights with Ruth Davies on bass, again from 7:00 to 9:30 pm - both nights have a $10 cover charge.

Preview performances will be presented in August, starting with Mike Greensill on Wednesday & Thursday, the 13th & 14th, and Wesla & Mike, with & John Wiitala on bass on Friday, the 15th. A performance on Saturday, the 16th,is by invitation only. The following week there will be just one night of music, on Friday the 22nd of August with Wesla & Mike. The regular 4-night cycle returns Thursday through Saturday, August 27th through 30th, prior to the grand opening on the 5th of September.
