SAN FRANCISCO: SHAYNEE RAINBOLT SINGS RUSSELL GARCIA IN 3 CITY TOURShaynee Rainbolt will celebrate legendary arranger, conductor and composer Russell Garcia's life in music in three venues in three US cities in September. In these rare U.S. appearances Russell Garcia will join Shaynee on stage, conducting his Four Trombone band. The show is called "Charmed Life: Shaynee Rainbolt SINGS Russell Garcia" and features 16 Russell Garcia Originals, including the 2008 MAC Award winning Song of the Year: "I Remember" with music by Russell Garcia and lyrics by Russell Garcia & Shaynee Rainbolt. The songs will be included in Shaynee's new CD of the same name. The first ever all-vocal album of the music of Russell Garcia.
NEW CABARET IN NAPA IN SEPTEMBER - SNEAK PREVIEWS IN AUGUST Napa Valley's new, premier live performance space, SILO'S (530 Main Street, Napa, CA - 707-251-5833 - http://www.weslawhitfield.com/silo's.html ), will officially open on Friday, September 5th at 7:00 pm presenting the magical song stylings of International Cabaret/Jazz star Wesla Whitfield. Wesla, with Mike Greensill at the piano, performs the best of The American Popular Songbook featuring the songs of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Frank Loesser, Rodgers & Hart, Harry Warren, Rodgers & Hammerstein and many, many more.
